A Coroa, Valdeorras, Spain


A family run winery, A Coroa takes advantage of the Godello's varietal personalities and is always in search of the highest quality. Production centers on thorough and thoughtful processing of the grape, using the best technology and respecting the heterogeneity of the land.  All the vineyards are hand harvested with the least possible amount of herbicides and pesticides used.  The winery is also transitioning to becoming fully organic. All the parcels are fermented using indigenous yeast at low temperatures to extract maximum aromas and flavors. The wines are then aged on the lees for 6 months and a blend is made from the best lots to create A Coroa.
