Di Filippo, Umbria Italy

 

Passion, respect, love. These are the three forces which drive Emma and Roberto Di Filippo in their daily lives with their vines. Passion for work, respect for the soil and love for the family tradition in the cultivation of vineyards which produce wines expressing the terrain. The 30 hectares, overlooking Assisi, rest on sun drenched hills between Torgiano and Montefalco, in the heart of Umbria. 

 

The Di Filippo's have a tradition of cultivation which respects nature, as they strongly believe in the need to find a constant balance between man, soil, flora and fauna. As a result, they adopt organic cultivation which respects the laws of biodynamic farming.
