Joan d’Anguera, Montsant, Spain

 

Joan d'Anguera is currently operated by the d'Anguera brothers, Joan and Josep, after inheriting the winery from their father. Initially recognized for introducing Syrah to the region, the brother's have decided to tend their focus towards Garnacha, a grape with a longer history in the region. They have begun experimenting with new harvest and aging techniques, defining their own style and putting a unique mark on their truly enjoyable wines.
