Paul D, Wagram, Austria

 

Paul D. Winery is located in Wagram where the family raises livestock and grows cash crops.  The vines were planted by Paul's grandfather in the 80's as a passion project. Paul inherited a passion for wine and has taken over the responsibilites with his grandfather Leopold standing by his side. 

 

The Wagram's has pannonian climatic and is a terrace of up to 40 meters heigh. The soil consists of a largely loess soil with a smaller amount of gravel and boulders. Loess as the main feature of the Wagram’s soil allows the growth of aromatic wines and offers ideal conditions for viniculture.
